um....it's rather long and involved. i could tell you the short version, but it probably wouldn't make sense. it starts at the end of book 53 and ends within like one chapter of book 54.

i'll try.

it's been a while since i read it, so bear with me.

at the end of 53, they're planning a full-on strike against the Yeerks with the aid of the general and the auxilliary animorphs. Jake sends Rachel on a mission by herself. everyone else sneaks onto Visser One's ship. Rachel is some kind of bug on Tom's back. Tom and some other controllers have the morphing power, but i don't know why, because that apparently happened in the span of six books that i don't have. Rachel and Tom get to Tom's bug fighter and Rachel jumps off. she hides under a console, demorphs, and remorphs to grizzly. she fights Tom and his cronies. one of them is a polar bear another is a cobra. she's outnumbered and she dies. somehow Tobias ends up on the communication screen as a human. the last thing Rachel sees is Tobias crying. Tobias never forgives Jake and disappears deep into the mountains. Cassie visits him occassionally. when Ax is captured, Jake convinces him to go with him. Marco leaves his TV show to go with Jake. Cassie stays because she's actually settled. (Cassie at some point says that she and Marco were the only ones to survive the war. unless it was her and Ax.) the series ends as it began, with the beginning of a war. Which is how book 54 got its name.

I hope that makes sense. feel free to ask me about any parts that don't. I for one, feel like I need to reread that whole shebang.
